Coil Binding

Coil or Spiral Binding creates impressive bound documents, presentations. Coil binding enables you to open document lay flat or turn pages back to back at 360 degrees for working in small spaces or at your computer. Choose from a variety of colours and spine sizes to match your custom logo colours for your project. Coil binding is a very secure bind for all your documents.

Punching

Coil binding is achieved by first punching 46 holes in a standard A4 (297mm) spine length document.
Desktop all in one manually punch bind, desktop electric semi-automatic punch bind or stand-alone fully-automatic electric punch & bind available depending on document output.

Inserting / Crimping

Coil elements are inserted by hand or with a semi-automatic electric 2 roller coil inserter user friendly. Coil elements must be crimped on top and bottom ends to prevent the coil from slipping through the holes of your document. This is accomplished either manually, with hand coil crimping pliers or with a semi-automatic electric crimper.
